Concerning the problems of combining intention UDH-hiyah (qurban) and aqiqah, the scholars have different opinions.

The first opinion: UDH-hiyah (qurban) should not be combined with aqiqah. This opinion is the opinion of scholars Malikiyah, Syafi'iyah and one opinion of Imam Ahmad.

The reason for this first opinion because aqiqah and qurban has its own causes and purposes that can not substitute for one another. 'Aqiqah carried out in order to appreciate the birth of a child's favor, while grateful for the blessings of life qurban and executed on the day of An Nahr (Eid al-Adha)

Al Haitami-one-Syafi'iyah cleric said, "If someone intends one goat for qurban and 'aqiqah at once then both are equally not teranggap. This is the more appropriate because the intent of qurban and 'aqiqah is different. "

Ibn Hajar Al Haitami Al Makkiy in Fataawa Kubronya explained, "As our schools cleric opinion since a few years ago, may not combine intention and qurban aqiqah. Second opinion: Merger qurban and 'aqiqah was allowed.According to this opinion, may perform well with the intention qurban 'aqiqah or vice versa. This is one opinion of Imam Ahmad, opinions Hanafiyah scholars, opinion Al Hasan Al Basri, Muhammad bin Sirin and Qotadah.

Al Hasan Al Basri said, "If a child wants to be thankful for with qurban, then qurban it could be one with 'aqiqah." Hisham and Ibn Sirin said, "Stay qurban considered valid if combined with' aqiqah."

Al Bahuti-a-Hanbali scholar said, "If time aqiqah and slaughter qurban qurban coincide with the time of implementation, namely the seventh day of birth or any other day to coincide with Eid al-Adha, it may do well with the intention aqiqah qurban or do qurban at once with the intention aqiqah. Important Point in Merger Intentions

It should be known in advance that the merger intentions are allowed if they meet two conditions:

Similarity type.
Worship is not worship that stands alone, meaning he could be represented by another kind of worship.
We demonstrated here, combining bolehnya tahiyatul mosque with the intention of praying sunnah prayer rawatib. Two of the same type of prayer is equally sunnah prayers. About tahiyatul mosque prayers, the Prophet sallallaahu 'alaihi wa sallam said,

إذا دخل أحدكم المسجد فلا يجلس حتى يصلي ركعتين

The purpose of this hadith sunnah prayer is important to do two raka'at when entering the mosque, can be represented by prayer sunna sunnah prayer ablution or with rawatib. Shaykh Muhammad bin Salih Al Uthaymeen was asked about the intention of combining law-hiyah UDH (qurban) and 'aqiqah, if Eid coincides with the seventh day the child's birth?

Rahimahullah Shaykh replied, "Some scholars have argued, if the day of Eid al-Adha coincides with the seventh day of the birth of a child, then held UDH-hiyah (qurban), then no need to carry out aqiqah (meaning qurban already become one with aqiqah, pen).As well as if a person entered the mosque and pray directly implement fardhu, then again he does not need to perform prayers tahiyatul mosque. The reason, because two of worship is a kind of worship and the two met in the same time. So one of worship have covered worship.

However, my own view that if God gave adequacy rizki, (when it coincides with Eid al-Adha aqiqah day), then he shall berqurban with a goat, plus beraqiqah with a goat (if she or her daughters) or beraqiqah with two goats (if male children men). "

Conclusion

Of the two opinions above, we are more inclined to the first opinion stating that the merger between aqiqah and qurban intention is not allowed, because even though his worship was similar but the intent is dzatnya qurban aqiqah and so can not be combined with each other. The first opinion is also more cautious and more safely than the existing disputes.
If indeed aqiqah qurban coincide with the Eid al-Adha, it should be split between aqiqah and qurban.
